Gorelink F/UTP (Foil/Unshielded Twisted Pair) Cat6 patch cords are manufactured and tested to ISO 11801, EN 50173 & TIA/EIA 568 requirements for patch cord assemblies and provide optimum performance levels for structured cabling installations. Cat 6 has to meet more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise than Cat 5 and Cat 5e. The cable standard specifies performance of up to 250 MHz. This Cat 6 patch cables consist of 4 twisted pairs of 26AWG stranded copper wires. These pairs are then cabled together, with different lay lengths to ensure optimum performance. Staggered pin RJ45 plugs terminate the cable, and each lead is fitted with colour coded slimline moulded boots, suitable for use in high density router or switch blades.
